The about page…isn’t it interesting that our lives are categorized in this manner? About….so, here is my attempt at what I am all about. I am 42 years old, live in the great state of North Carolina, have a wonderful significant other (can’t call him husband, cause we’re not married) and we have been together for 14 years now and I have 3 great children.
DJ is my 13 year old son who is going through his “black” stage. But even though I anticipated problems with him, so far so good. In general he is a very well behaved teenager, minus some attitute, but that is to be expected. Great student, when he wants to be, which is most of the time.
MJ is my 8 year old daughter, who is just priceless. Was scared of having a girl, thinking with my luck she would be girly girly, but not so. She has her moments of girly girly but then she has moments of being a tom-boy, even though she does that wearing a dress. Thank goodness for my middle sister, who takes her shopping and understands the girly girly part of her.
CJ is the youngest, just turned 6 months old, and is our baby boy. He has his two bottom teeth and we are slowly fighting our top two teeth. He is currently learning how to crawl which makes his mom very very happy.
About me, well right now I stay at home with CJ, it sure beats paying for daycare these days. Plus school is out in 8 days which means I won’t have to worry about summer care this year for the older two.
I am in the process of starting two home-based businesses. Carolina Candy Wraps and Beth’s Java Cafe both of which will go hand in hand with each other. Carolina Candy Wraps is a business in which I create custom candy bar wrappers for holidays, birthdays, special occasions, etc. Currently there are over 100 designs and I wrap about 30 different items. Beth’s Java Cafe is an on-line coffee company through Brown Bag Gourmet Goodies, we have the best coffee available, and hey its delivered to your door. What more could you ask for. My main concentration of course is on Carolina Candy Wraps, which if I can get if off the ground should be a huge success.
I will be posting more about both businesses later, as well as showing some of the designs that are available.
